Happy Thanksgiving!

Last Wednesday Chris finished his cardiology rotation by taking his test and as soon as he was done we hopped in the car for our 10 hour drive to Utah for a quick Thanksgiving!

Here we are all excited to be on our way!!!!...

The drive was freakishly easy and good! The girls did awesome and fell asleep at their bedtime and slept for the next 4 hours when we pulled in the driveway!!! Here's Adyson all "Comfy!"...

Thanksgiving morning we slept in and then that afternoon headed to Great Grandma and Grandpa Baum's for our turkey dinner!

Dinner was so yum and we loved seeing family! That night all of the girls went out for some black friday shopping! It was a blast and I loved it! I got great deals and McKenna's birthday is all bought for! :) I get such a high from getting a good deal! We went to Wal-mart at 9:30, Kohls, Target, and the mall! We were home by 3:30 and then Chris and his parents went out again at 5! LOVE IT!!!!

Later Friday we stopped by Shanna's for some sista/cousin time!

Friday night 4 of us went to see Breaking Dawn! It was.... interesting! It was fun to be able to go out to a movie though :)

Saturday we went to Cars 2 at the theatre but only Nana, Papa, and McKenna actually watched the movie! The babies weren't having it so the rest of us left and shopped! Then we went to the new South Joran Brick Oven and later played cards back at the house with some more fam!

Sunday we headed home and the drive was the opposite of the one going there!... pure... torture! But we survived and lived to tell about it! The worst part about the whole trip was definitely saying goodbye though... :( I never like that part!

Early Treeing!

We are going to head to Utah for Thanksgiving and when we get back Chris is heading to an away rotation so we decided to decorate our Christmas tree a little early!

The girls were SOOOO excited! Kids make Christmas so much more fun!!! Our tree is... well... rather pathetic. It's only as tall as McKenna and I just let the girls put everything where ever they'd like to! One day I'll have a super big Christmas tree... and maybe even a super big home to put it in :)

McKenna stayed in the same spot the entire time she was decorating. So it's rather cluttered! Hahaha... but she was and is just so proud of her little spot!

She kept going over to it all night long... and as I am writing this... she just walked over to it! hahaha.

Adyson on the other hand only cared about one ornament... the one with all the jingle bells. She kept putting it on the tree then taking it off just so she could put it back on!

I LOVE the Holidays!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My Mini-mes!

This is a pic of McKenna wanting to be little and Adyson wanting to be big! McKenna loves to eat in the high chair and Adyson loves to eat in McKenna's booster!

Dr. Phil (Should I be embarrassed I'm a fan??) always says "thee most important role model in a child's life is the same sex parent."

Lately I've realized how what I do really effects the girls because they COPY it! I feel like they are my "Mini Mes!" Kinda scary... uber cute... and lets hope that I'm not scarring them for life by creating bad habits!

Take for example Adyson...

• She literally follows me around all day long. Whatever I do... she also wants to do.
• We brush our teeth together!
• She LOVES to cook with me. She has to have her own spoon to stir stuff!
• Everyday she repeats something new that I say! She has said thank you for a while but today it was soooo clear!
• She loves to drink my drink and eat my food!
• She gets super excited to go to sleep.
• Another trait she has gotten from me... she gets super hangry. This is what Chris named my anger when I am hungry :) When Adyson wants to eat... she wants to eat RIGHT THEN!!! She goes over to her high chair and pushes it into the kitchen and will yell at me until I figure out what she wants!

McKenna...

• Lately her favorite thing to play is "Shopping!" Her favorite stores to shop at when she goes is "Tj Maxx, Wal Mart, the grocery store, the library, and Hobby Lobby!
• She is usually shopping for her party that she is planning! She then loves to throw a party!
• When I am making my cakes, she loves to help. She calls the fondant play dough.
• When she wakes up each morning she asks... "Where we going?" She then expects to know our schedule.
• She still LOVES television and would sit there all day long if I let her.
• She calls Adyson "Sweetheart" and "Booga Bear" ... which are the 2 things I call her!
• She constantly says... "Oh... it's so cute!"

I love them more than anything and I hope I can live up to what they need!!!!!

And of course we had to sing happy birthday and blow out the candle...
