The Grand Canyon!

On our way home from UT we decided to go to the Grand Canyon since we only lived 4 hours away for 4 years!

It was... a big hole... glad we saw it but I can't quite figure out why people come from all over the world to see it!  It isn't exactly a kid friendly place either :)  We were going to stay overnight be we were SOOOO done with traveling so we canceled our hotel and drove home!  We really just wanted to spend our last 2 weeks home in AZ.  Plus, we had a lot of packing to do!

Like I said before, glad we went though!

The rest of our UT trip!

After the race we spent time with both of our families!  We were able to celebrate Livi's birthday at Jungle Jim's.  Seriously... we had SO much fun haha!  I think the kids were ready to go before the adults were!

 I could just EAT Logy!!!!

Reagy meeting her Aunt Shanna for the first time!...

The birthday girl in true fashion!!!!!!

I think Chris was more excited than the kids...

We had a blast with Grandma and Grandpa Dalby who were there getting last minute house stuff picked out!!!

We then spent the next week at the Fowler's!  One night we went up the canyon and did tin foil dinners, smores, and cobbler... holy yum!

And... McKenna's picture sums up how great and tasty it was :)  We had so much fun being with family knowing we were soon moving so far away!

Post Baby Half!

Right after I had Reagan Angel told me she was going to do the Provo Half Marathon on May 4th. I was so bummed because I REALLY wanted to do it with her.  I was told I could maybe speed walk at 8 weeks post c-section so I didn't think at 12 weeks I'd be able to do it!  At 7 weeks I was DYING to run and so I went out for a 3 miler... and I felt GREAT!  So I started right back in with my regular 5 miles with long runs on Saturdays and I told Angel to count me in :)

I was so grateful I was able to get back into running before our big move to Arkansas so hopefully it helps me to continue to run in unknown territory!  The run went AWESOME!  I felt so good and loved running with Angel for one last hurrah!  Chris is a SAINT!  He woke up at 4 am with me and drove me down so I could feed Reagan just before.  It was an early morning but I'm so glad I was able to do it!!!
