Midwestern has had some fun events in the last week!
Last weekend was the annual casino night to send off the second years who will be starting their rotations! Chris and I had a fun night out while some friends took care of McKenna! There was lots of food and you could win prizes with your winnings from the gambling! No prizes for us though:(
Last night was another annual event... Cuts for kids, where the entire neighborhood is invited to get free haircuts for locks of love! There was lots of food, games and auctions. I donated a cake and a gift certificate for a free specialty cake!
I'm pretty sure Chris wanted to go on this way more than McKenna!!!
They had plants for the kids to plant themselves! McKenna planted a green pepper plant!

So fun! We should have come...to both. Unfortunately Trevor didn't get tickets in time for the casino night. I wasn't really OK with paying 40 bucks to go. Next year for sure! :)
