Being Home!

Our first week home with Adyson has been great... here's some of what we've been up to!...

Adyson had her first doctor's appointment last monday when she was just 4 days old! She was looking good!

Here are her stats:
7 lbs. 13 oz.- 50%
20 1/2 in.- 75%
Head 13 1/2- 25%

We had to get her blood checked because she was looking a little jaundice... but her levels were all good! We still tried to sun bathe her some to get her yellow out!

Chris doesn't start school until the 30th so we are eating up the time we have with all of his attention!

McKenna had her half birthday! 18 months already! It's crazy! Here she is with her half birthday cake!

Lately she can often be found right here... in my nursing chair! It has been in her room her whole life and she never showed any interest in it... but now that it is moved into our bedroom, she wants to sit in it all the time!

Adyson's first bath at home! She loved it... can't you tell! :)

We are still working on McKenna being soft with Adyson! Right now she is ... well... Not soft with her! Let's just say, we NEVER leave Adyson alone with her... just as precaution! She is always trying to hold her, pick her up, kiss her, give her her binky, blanky or a toy... DANGER!

But she is a great big sister!

Nana was here for 10 days and Papa came for a couple days after a business trip! It was WONDERFUL having them and I was a little (a lot secretly) sad when they left, I wish they hadn't!

Chris and McKenna are getting a lot of swimming time in since Adyson and I are housebound... boo!... But at least they are having fun! When we ask McKenna if she wants to go swimming now she gets REALLY excited and runs into her room to get her bathing suit!

Here is how Chris plays with McKenna... she loves it!

I recently got her some water wings, she loves them and is doing great with them! She can be much more independent and not almost drown every 5 seconds like she did pre-water wings!

Chris and his dad playing pass the baby... this picture does not capture how high or far they were throwing...

"Sigh"... come back!

Adyson and McKenna taking their first walk in the new stroller! We went to get frozen yogurt!

I am recovering well from the c section! I ran out of pain pills las week and had a really hard weekend without them... I now have more and so life can go on!

It is pretty sad when all the help leaves, but it looks like you are getting along pretty well. That picture of Chris throwing McKenna in the air is hilarious, a keeper for sure!
