Last Thursday Adyson and I flew out to Utah so I could do this...
That's right... I paid $250 in plane tickets and race fees to run 13.1 miles on the street! Hehehe :) But who really can put a price on completing a major goal right?! :)
Angel and I have been running since I could 12 weeks after my last c-section and we've wanted to do a half marathon. I was starting to build my confidence of being able to do one and when I looked for one, it was too late here in AZ because it is already too hot! So we decided to sign up for the Provo half!

To make things ten times more fun and amazing... my sister's decided to do it with me! Shanna and Tara did the relay so Tara ran the first half and Shanna ran the second half! We spent a couple months calling each other and making sure we all stayed on track to be ready!
We turned it into a sister's weekend! Thursday we spent all night making our shirts! They said "Which way to the Mall?" Which is so.... um... us :) We got lots of comments on them which was pretty funny.
On our backs we put our nicknames... my Dad has always called me Gucca...
The race was harder than I thought! I had done 12 the week before so I thought I would be fine. At mile 11 I was so tired, then at mile 12 I really thought I may not make it. Thank HEAVENS I had Angel there with me! She was my motivational speaker for the last mile! "Come on, we got this, this is nothing, it's right there, etc. etc. :) " Thanks Angel! You're the best!

My in laws watched Adyson for me and came to the finish line to see me finish! They are the best! Thanks and I'm so glad you came!
We had a great weekend of shopping, eating, and catching up! We went to lunch with Brittney and it was great to hear how she is doing and how my brother is doing in the Army!
I spent Sunday, Mother's Day, up with my in laws! Adyson enjoyed playing with her cousin Kylie and it was great to see everyone!
Thanks to Chris for letting me go! I missed McKenna and Him so much and I'm glad to be home!Ya for completing a big goal of mine! It feels good!

You Dalby girls are my favorite! I am so proud of you! You're so hard core. I was thinking of going running with you at the reunion but now I am rethinking that idea:) Love the shirts although I don't think Dalby girls need any help finding a mall. love ya!
