Life...

There are 2 step 1 board tests Chris has to take. Monday Chris took his first board test! It was nice to get one out of the way and then Tuesday morning he took a break from studying and went to our weekly movie with us!!!! This morning Chris went to take his second board test! It is 9 hours long and 400 questions. Your board scores determine what kind of a doctor you can be... so they are VERY important! Even though Chris may not want to be a brain surgeon, it is still nice to have your options completely open! I'm sure he did, and is doing great and we are so proud of him!

Sending GOOD VIBES to Chris RIGHT now!

A couple posts ago I said that we had gotten a second car. We've known now for a couple years that eventually when chris' rotations started we'd need a second car... but we were DREADING car shopping. It is just SO unfun! We looked forever on Craigslist and every other possible site! We thought we just wanted another small sedan, we had an appointment to go see one from Craigslist and the guy was.... super... icky... the car was also over priced and not very nice. After that we went straight over to a tent sale a bunch of dealerships were having. As much as I HATE car salesman... the guy from craigslist was 10 times worse. Anywho... to make a long story short, we went if for a sedan and came out with this...

A Dodge Durango. We got an awesome deal on it but we still had buyers remorse after... but now a couple weeks later, we feel great about our decision! :)

It is about 112 degrees here on average these days in Glendale. We spend a lot of our time in the pool, the mall, or at home in the air conditioning! The heat really doesn't bother me. Angel and I have still managed to keep running, we just have to keep going earlier and earlier to try and beat the heat!

You can often find the girls clothes-less at home just to keep cool!...

This pic is SOOO McKenna, she has all her stuff set out in order!

Here's McKenna playing what Chris and I call "homeless." It's pretty much what she does all day. She puts all her "necessities" you know, i.e. her baby, blankie, snacks, juice, and random toys she decides to be attached to, into her shopping cart and walks around with it all day!

The girls also started to play together a lot more. Sometimes I can catch them playing together in their room... I LOVE it, so do they. They rip the room apart, but that's okay! If Chris or I go in to check on them... McKenna shoos us away with her hand and tells us to go away...

That's what we've been up to!!!! Happy Summer!

hahaha, so funny. Such cute pictures. Haylee and Hunter play a lot more togther too. They always go in her room and same, thing. Haylee shoo's me out. Which I'm glad for but she has such tiny little pieces Hunter loves to get his hands on. And she is in this new phase where she will lock her door. She tells me they need privacy. Uh.... no you don't!! Love the new car. of course you need the fam car!!
