Months and months ago Chris and I had planned with some friends to try and go on a cruise... then the opportunity for the UT rotation came about and we had to cancel :( We were bummed and we still are that we didn't get to go with our friends but, when Chris got his schedule the doc told him he was going on vacation the last week and a half of the rotation.... SAWEET! That means we too got to have a vacation! We headed to San Diego with Nana, Papa, and Maddie!!!

McKenna was too funny! She ALWAYS wanted to be looking at the map and telling us where we were and where we were going! :)
HANDS DOWN McKenna's FAVORITE part of the entire San Diego trip was being able to hold the star fish!!!! She is STILL talking about it! She would have stayed there all day long if we had let her!

It was.... freezing! and super windy but we still loved every second of beach time we had! The girls loved being in the sand!!!!!

We love to eat up every second we can spend with Nana and Papa! It still hasn't gotten easier to say goodbye :( What a fun time we had!!!!!!!

Looks like a BLAST! I loved seeing McKenna's expressions in all the pictures. You could tell she was loving it! Glad you had a good time and got to take a well deserved vacation!!! :)
