Glendale was AWESOME at holidays! Halloween especially! So when we moved from there I was worried it just wouldn't be the same, but Bryant, AR totally lived up to everything we had in AZ! Woot woot!! There were so many fun things to go to so we had to pick and choose. Our first festivity was the ward Halloween trunk or treat/chili cook off. I'm in the primary presidency and took on being in charge of it. We combined with the Little Rock ward so it was good to have others to share the work! It was so fun! I put the prizes together for the trunks and chili! Chris was supposed to work until 7 but had someone come in early for him, thank heavens! He got there during dinner. It was a lot of work to get the girls all put together, get there
Reagy's first Halloween!!!!!!!!!!! She also happened to turn 9 months on Halloween! She was so good and kept her wig on the whole time :)
It was SUPER cold and Adyson didn't feel well poor thing...
Our Primary Presidency... I love these ladies!!!!!
Jamie, Marji, me, and Tara...
I was SOOO happy when Chris go there :)
On Monday the girls had dance and they got to wear their costumes!!! I was a little confused when we walked in and I didn't see anyone else dressed up... but then a couple girls came in dressed and the director assured me they WERE supposed to dress up!
After dance we went to the Benton City Boo Bash! It was fun!!!
Wednesday McKenna had a party and trick or treating at her preschool! She LOVED it and they did a great job! We LOVE her preschool!!!
All the kiddos in her class! Yes... there is only one boy hahaha!
Thursday the girls were so excited it was actually the real HALLOWEEN day! Chris had to work so the girls and I had Halloween without him. :( All morning they dressed up in random outfits and would ring the doorbell to practice their trick or treating!
That afternoon we went with the Sledge (our builder) fam to Dillards offices for some SERIOUS trick or treating! They got so much candy it was disgusting! We had a blast though and we absolutely adore Kaleb and Sam!!!
It was so fun... and then... McKenna got on an elevator thinking we were all following her... all of a sudden I heard her scream "Mommy." I didn't know what to do! There were 4 floors and a basement. WE were on floor 2. I didn't know whether to go up or down, or stay where we were. John went down and Kelli's sister went up. John found her in the basement. Someone was taking her to security. The poor girl was so traumatized :( She was crying and wouldn't let go of me the rest of the time.
Reagan loves Mr. John! She always wants to go to him! They are buds!
After that we rushed back to Bryant to go to a dinner party/trick or treating at the Bailey family's home!!! SUCH great people here! The party was AWESOME! I didn't get many pics because I was pictured out but this party was a pinteresters dream! They had the most adorable yummy food and it was so much fun! It had been such a long day... Adyson took her wig off to go trick or treating... And I didn't even care anymore hahaha!
We got home in enough time to give out candy to a couple groups of trick or treaters... the girls thought it was so much fun! Then when Chris got home he wanted to trick or treat too since he missed out! :)
The loot...
And then the girls went to bed... hehehe
I am so grateful for motherhood! I thought Halloween was fun before but it is so much more fun as a mom!!!!! Happy Halloween to everyone and thanks to all those that made our first Arkansas Halloween so memorable!!!! :)

Loved EVERYTHING about this post! Wish we could have been there to share in all the fun activities. You guys sure did a lot! I love that the girls dressed up in different outfits and practiced trick or treating. haha. so cute. Love you all!
How traumatizing for poor McKenna! That would be super scary! One time when Jared and I were at the Florida airport, he jumped onto the shuttle as the doors were closing and I didn't want to get shut in them, so I stopped.....AND we got separated and I had no phone! It was so scary and I had no idea where I was going. Luckily I managed to get off on the right spot and we were reunited :. Long story short- Mckenna's experience reminded me of that. Glad you are having such a great time there!!
