Branson!

 Last week we took a little family vacation to Branson, Missouri!!!

Chris's grandparents have a condo time share in Branson and they invited us down to see them!  It's about a 3.5 hour drive... not too bad!  Chris worked Monday night and then we left on Tuesday.  I hated having McKenna miss almost a full week of school, but we figured our family time was important enough!!  

The first couple nights we stayed in a hotel since the condo was full!  The girls were in HEAVEN!  They think staying in a hotel is the best thing ever!  It was so fun to see their excitement!

 The first night we explored downtown Branson.  We rode the trolly and walked around to all the shops!  We then went to Pizza World and met up with Great Grandma and Grandpa Baum!

 The hotel had a bear named Smokey.  The clerks at the front desk were able to talk through a microphone like it was the bear talking.  Smokey was a big deal.  Adyson once again was too scared to take a picture with it and Reagan changed her mind after a few seconds...

 The next day we met up with the g-parents and went to a show... the Celtic Ladies and the Irish Tenors.  It was SOOO much fun to be at a show.  the girls did pretty well for most of it but were done by the end!  Branson is sometimes described as "old people Vegas" hahaha.  There were LOTS of grandparents around with no grandkids so everyone was going crazy over the girls... they ate it up of course :)

 We then went to the condo and spent time with what is to the girls... Great Great Aunt Betty, and Uncle Jack and Aunt Jackie.  It was WONDERFUL being around family.  The girls absolutely had a blast since they so rarely get to be around grandparents!

Later that night we went to the Dixie Stampede!!!!  It was AWESOME!!!  It is a rodeo show with a dinner.  They don't give you any silverware but Grandpa Baum went and bought some before the show haha.  To say the girls had fun is a massive understatement!

We were sad to say goodbye to all the family that night since they were leaving early the next morning.... but we were excited to keep our vacation going!

 The rest of the trip we stayed in the Condo... it was THEE cutest thing I have ever seen!

It had a huge park, a restaurant with a live band, a swimming pool for the summer time, and so many amazing things right out the back door!!!

The rest of the time was awesome... we RELAXED!  We did a lot of shopping at the outlet mall, rented red boxes, ate out... it was heaven!  We didn't want to leave!

Saying "thanks" for the amazing trip is DEFINITELY not enough to say to Grandma and Grandpa Baum... the trip was so fun and rejuvenating!!!!  Heaven really!  Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!
