Saline County Fair!

In September we decided to go to the Saline County fair!  The best way to describe it was it was exactly what I would have pictured straight out of Charlotte's Webb!  People were getting their fruit, pies, ginormously humungous pigs, and anything else you could think of judged! :)\

Adyson REALLY REALLY wanted to go on the swings but she was told she was too little.  That... didn't go over so well.  "I'm big mom, I'm big."  It was kinda sad!  So she decided to go on the horse instead.  She STILL talks about being too little for the swings!

 

Tara's Baby Shower!

My baby sister is having a BABY!!!!!

I am sooo very excited for her!  Shanna and I could not wait to find out boy or girl so we could get the shower planning in motion!!!!!

It's a BOY!

When I got to Utah ALL we did for the first week was shower stuff... seriously... all morning, day, and night hahaha!  The shower was the day after we got home from the reunion!  We had a great time putting it all together and celebrating with Tara!!

 Tara's mil surprised her and I MADE sure to capture her face!  She was a little shocked :)

 The shower went perfect!  RIGHT after the shower if when I started feeling sick and had the stomach flu and then everyone else got it from there on as well (including the mom to be, both my gparents, my mom, McKenna, Adyson, all of Shanna's kids, and then all my in laws. YIKES!)... but at least we made it through the shower!

A big thanks to Shannon and Doug for watching the girls during the shower for me as well... and therefore taking care of them as they puked all night long all over their house since I was at my parents doing the same :)

  Tars I love you and can't wait to meet Baby Boy Hibbard!!!!  He is going to be thee most stylish little man around!

Discovery Museum!

 A couple weeks ago we went to Little Rock and got a season pass to the Discovery Museum!  We figured it was something to do on a hot or cold day to get out of the house!  The girls had a blast and can't wait to go back again except for the tornado simulator room.  They made a room that looks like you are in a basement with a news channel on.  There are windows and they simulate a tornado... hmmmm... probably wasn't a good idea to go into!  McKenna left hysterical and then Adyson followed suite.  Woops!  They have been very clear that they want to go back but do NOT want to go back in the potato (tornado) room!

First Day of Preschool!

My pretty pretty princess had her first day of preschool today!!!!  She was a little (as in crazy, ginormously, EXTREMELY) excited!

As soon as I found out where we were moving I started looking for a preschool.  They were ALL either full or more of a daycare.  Then I found this one... it's at a baptist church about 15 minutes away.  It's 2 days a week from 8-12... perfect!  Just what I was looking for!

Last week we went to a meet the teacher and I was SO pleased with the choice I made!  YAY!  It's going to be a great year!

 Also... at meet the teacher McKenna brought a leaf she had found with her.  She wanted to show her teacher.  When she showed her, Mrs. Helen thought she was giving it to her.  McKenna went with it thankfully although she was a little confused!  Mrs. Helen then said "How'd you know how much I love leaves?!"  She then showed her an entire wall she had decorated for fall that was covered in leaves!  McKenna has spent the last week collecting more leaves to give to her.  I am so happy this thoughtful, sweet little girly is mine!  Mrs. Helen sent home a thank you note saying how much she loved both the cookies and the leaves :)

 The day was a complete success!  Chris got home in time to take her so we all went!  McKenna didn't blink an eye and had a blast!  Adyson I could tell felt a little left out but she loved her some good snuggle time with mommy!  Here's to a great year of preschool ahead for McKenna!!!!  You go baby girl!!

2 Teethies!!!

Hi!  I'm Reagan!  This is what happens to me if my mommy leaves me alone with my sister McKenna!  Yesterday I turned 7 months old and this week I got my first 2 teethies!  I'm SOOOO close to crawling... any day now! Oh... and while I'm talking... my mommy is super pretty and wonderful!  Hehehe
