O-K-L-A-H-O-M-A!

Early in the morning after the UAMS Christmas party the girls and I (plus the birthday cake I had made!) packed into our car and headed to Oklahoma to FINALLY see Angel and Zoey!!  It was so hard saying goodbye to these two in AZ and we are so excited to be only about 4.5 hours away!  That is nothin!  We couldn't resist going for Zoey's 2nd birthday party!  

The Birthday Girl!!!  It's amazing how much she grew in just 6 months!!

All the decor was stinkin adorable!  Angel did an awesome job!  I was glad the cake made it all in one piece!

The party was so much fun and the girls were so excited to sleep at Zoey's house!  The next morning we woke up and went to church before heading back home!

It was such a quick trip because we had to be back home for things Monday but it was so worth it!  I love these girls and miss seeing them everyday!  It's so nice having them just a drive away!!!

UAMS Christmas Party!

 The Emergency department at UAMS through an awesome Christmas party! 

 Chris worked until 7 that night and so we met him at the party... hence the scrubs when everyone else is dressed nice!  The party was at Dr. Seupaul's mansion  home!  There was lots of yummy food and alcohol... since we obviously didn't partake in the alcohol I was SURE to get my share of cake balls hehehe! :)  Santa came and called every kid BY NAME and gave them a PERSONALIZED gift!  We were so impressed!  The girls ran around all night and were watched and played with by Dr. Seupaul's older kids and we were able to chat with everyone!

All the kids were sitting waiting for Santa to come!  Santa walked right up behind McKenna and Adyson and started talking to them!  They were pretty surprised!

We are SO SO SO SO blessed to be a part of such a wonderful program that treats us so good!!!

Bass Pro Shop Santa!

Wow... I'm so behind on my blogging so now it's the catch up game!  Right after Thanksgiving we went to see Santa!  The girls were crazy excited!  Arkansas just had their first Bass Pro Shop open up.  Ya... it was like the biggest deal in the world to these Arkansas peeps!  It's like the equivalent to a Cafe Rio opening up for a Utahan or really any other Mormon probably :)  Mmmmm... Cafe Rio how I miss thee!!

Daddy/Daughter Date - Adyson!

Chris has started taking the girls on Daddy/Daughter dates!  Adyson was first!  She was so excited!  They started with Petco to look at the animals then best buy.  They got ice cream and then to the not really a dollar store dollar store to spend her marbles that she had earned!  She picked out a game and then came home and we played it multiple times!  She is such a sweety pie and they had so much fun!!!

Thanksgiving 2013

 This is the first time that we did not travel for Thanksgiving to either Colorado or Utah!  I was a little home sick for family but it was also nice to be able to relax and not travel!  We spent the morning cooking and watching the Macy's Day parade.  It does not feel like Thanksgiving to me if I don't have the parade on!  I love it!

In the afternoon we went to the Hawkes' home for dinner!  Jesse is a first year EM Resident with Chris and we love having them here in AR!  They have 3 boys so we've decided we can play matchmaker down the road Hehehe! :)  It's nice having friends who are also so far from family so we can keep each other company!

We made the rolls, green bean casserole, fluff, and pies!  Chris made a pecan pie from scratch and I made a banana cream pie from scratch!  We had fun making them both for the first time!  I also made little oreo turkeys for the plates!

My sweet baby's first Thanksgiving!!!...

 We had a BLAST eating and chatting!  The girls had fun running around like crazies and they were playing outside in the cold!  McKenna asked if she could wear Louis's robe.  One of the only things she has asked for christmas is a robe.  She thought it was the coolest thing in the world!  Adyson borrowed a camo jacket and they were drinking hot cocoa with peppermint marshmallows to warm up!!!

After dinner Becky and I had to run to walmart to get one of the black friday deals and then we met back up with our fam's at the church where a bunch of people got together for pie!  It was a lot of fun... although I have to admit... I was dying to go shop.  I can't stand missing an awesome deal.  Chris took the girls home and put them to bed and Becky and I went back out to the madness of shopping.  Best. Time. EVER!  I LOVE deal shopping.  

So thankful the Lord has blessed me beyond belief.

Emersyn's Party!

The girls attend dance class with another family that has 3 girls almost exactly our girls same ages!  They are awesome and we've loved becoming "dance mom" friends!

Baby Emersyn just turned one and they invited us to the birthday party!  They were in heaven since they haven't been to a bouncy place since AZ!
