MY CUTE COLLEGE GRAD!

So college Graduation was not a big deal to Chris... but I was so excited for him! He has worked so hard and now he can get a big boy job until med school! He graduated in genetics and biotechnology... um.... yeah.... stuff way over my head! Both 0ur families were able to attend which made it even better. Thursday was the commencement ceremony and Elder Bednar spoke! I love him! For those who attended Yidaho with me when I did he gave the classic "Love to learn and learn to learn" speech we heard all the time from him! It was great! Then on Friday the individual colleges have the graduates announced and walk across the stage. Afterwards we all headed up to Draper for an awesome BBQ with more food than we could ever want. It was lots of fun and I'm so proud of my cute college grad hubby!

That entire side of the marriot was all graduates! There were soooo many! Chris didn't sit with the graduates... he sat with me during the commencement ceremony!

Med School

Hi everyone!!! I know.... we are bad bloggers! A lot has happened... A couple weeks ago Chris found out about med school and it's a no go for this year. He's okay with it however and is kind of excited to have a break! He's gone through school so fast he deserves it! So now we are stuck with the whole not knowing thing for another year! Right now he is currently job hunting around Salt Lake area and starting the application process again for schools. he only applied to about 4 or 5 schools this year and will be applying to about 50 this next year! Keep your fingers crossed!

One Year!

Today is our one year anniversary and we couldn't be more happy! I woke up yesterday to a dozen roses and then after Chris slept (he worked all night) we headed out for a nice weekend. Chris didn't tell me where we were going but we ended up going to Logan to the anniversary inn! It is so fun there and that is where we stayed the day after we were married! I had given Chris his gift earlier which was "Island life- in a bag." If you know Chris well enough... you know that he would drop and sell everything he has right now if it meant that he could move to an island! It's true! He would be more than happy to live in a hut on some beach for the rest of his life. So I gave him some things to make it seem like he is! (Maybe then I can actually keep my home, and you know... all the other things I kind of like having!) We stayed in the Hawaiian room which was sooooooooooo fun! We had such a nice time celebrating and remembering back on our year together! We can't wait for many more!

Life right now!

Hello Everyone! Welcome to our awesome new blog! We hope this can help us keep in touch with all of our family and friends! This month is our one year anniversary! Crazy huh! It is amazing how fast time flies by. It's been a good and really busy year. Last April I graduated from BYU and am currently teaching at Lehi High School. I'm teaching Foods/Nutrition and Financial Literacy. I have about 250 students, and they definitely keep me busy. I'm still getting used to getting paid for this and not having to go to another job after school, unlike student teaching! Chris is doing great and is REALLY excited to graduate from BYU next month. He is still working at Utah Valley Hospital as a PCT (patient care technician) in the pediatric unit. We are still in the waiting process for Chris' Medical School applications. Back in October he had his interview at the University of Utah and our fingers are crossed! Hopefully soon we'll have some good news to share! As a whole life is good!
