Today was McKenna's first doctors appointment. It is her 2 week check up, even though she is only 9 days old! She is doing very well! She now weighs 8 lbs. 6 oz. which puts her in the 70 percentile and she is 21 1/2 in.... which means she shrank... or people measure differently!... which is in the 95 percentile!!! Everything else looked great with her. She had to have her second PKU test... and mommy had to leave before they poked her! I already start crying even when nothing is wrong... there is no way I could've held it together for that. We then went to a lactation specialist to help us out with feeding. It's harder than it looks! Hopefully it gets easier with time!
You can see where they poked her on her foot... oh man... it KILLS me!!!

Shots still kill me with Peyton. Cade stays in the room with her most of the time because I feel so bad. She is such a doll!
When I take my kids to the doctor, I think I cry more than they do! I'm so happy she's healthy and cute!

Don't you love the pink and brown...they just look so sweet in it! Eliza has a ton of it!
Shots will always be hard, but try to remember that it doesn't help the situation if you are falling apart too! At least she only had the one foot prick! You are an awesome mom! Keep it up!
