Our little family has had a major U turn in our lives! A couple of days ago Chris got a call from Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona... and let him know that he's been accepted! Chris and I spent the next several hours and deliberated what we should do. We are less than a week away from our move. We have decided to go! So Des Moines is out and Arizona is in! Chris has been applying to med school since we've been married and we are SO excited to finally get this process started! Arizona just feels right! We have been looking for housing in Des Moines for months... and hadn't found anything. Within 24 hours of being accepted we had housing picked out and the contract signed! Everything just fell into place. We will be leaving Tuesday and moving into our new home Wednesday!
This was Chris' Birthday gift that was delivered to the house late! I had a bright orange
(which if you know Chris... you know this can match his bright orange scrubs and bright orange crocs that are ummm... yeah... very bright!) stethoscope made for him that has his name engraved! Med school here we come!

Oh I am so, so happy for you guys! That is so neat how everything just fell into place like that, that's when you know it's right. But I will really miss you back here in Utah!
