The one who almost got away...

Yesterday was Father's Day!  

We had a great day being able to skype our fam's and tell both our Dads how much we love and appreciate them!  But my favorite part of the day was being able to celebrate Chris... he is the one who almost got away!

The girls and I started the day by making Chris french toast in bed and bringing him his gifts.  The girls had made him stuff and we got him a laptop cooler thingy since his laptop is constantly over heating.  McKenna was SUPER excited about her present for him... she had talked about it all week.  What she most wanted to give him was ROCKS!  Hahaha... it was so cute.  She was SOO set on giving him rocks!  We then went to church and had people over for lasagna and fruit pizza!  As we were all sitting around talking after Lisa was asking about our dating each other before marriage!  

I think it's kinda a funny story since starts with me coming home from our first date and saying to my favorite cuz... "Eh... it was fun... but it's not like he's my husband or anything!"  Then we ended up dating for about a month and I broke up with him.  THANK HEAVENS Chris was persistent with me because like I said... he almost got away!

HE IS AMAZING and I thank my Heavenly Father every day that my babies get to have HIM for their daddy!  He is wonderful and way more than I could have ever dreamed up!
