Philly

Last Monday Chris and 3 classmates/friends left for Philadelphia to take a practical exam board test.  He left at 7:30 in the morning and took a 4.5 hour flight.  There is a 3 hour time difference from here to there so they arrived at dinner time, studied, and went to sleep!  The next day they had to be at their test at 4:30 AM our time!  They had to do 12 mock patient exams... that's a lot!  After doing that all day long they hopped on a plane to come back home!  They had a 2 hour layover in Denver and then Chris got home about 11:30 that night!  When he got home he was... EXHAUSTED!  What craziness!!!!!!  Here's to hoping for great results!

I asked Chris to take some pics and he did... one pic... of a philly steak sandwich....gee... thanks sweety :)

The girls and I tried to keep busy while he was gone.  In 112 degree weather that is no easy task.  McKenna has been begging me for days to paint rocks.... yes.... paint rocks.  Not sure what made her want to do this but I finally gave in.

Here's some pics... my question to you is... WHAT WAS I THINKING!

Needless to say... their last stop of the night was the bath!  This was their THIRD bath for the day!!!

Yay for painting rocks!!?? :)

Haha that is hilarious!! Painting rockshuh?? Super random! Actually, addi might like that and it would give us something to do indoors- thanks for the idea! It's so funny that Chris took ONE picture and of a sandwich of all things haha that sounds like something Jared would do too :)

Maybe when you guys come to nanna's and papa's house they can pant rocks with aunt Maddie. My mom would love that with all the paint every where.

So funny that Mckenna is so in to rocks lately. Father's day gift, painting. I love it. And I'm impressed Chris did his Philly trip in two days. That is a long haul! Is it bad that I'm already thinking about how nice it will be for the first half of 4th year to be over? Ha.
