My family has had an extremely busy year! The wedding was so gorgeous and it was an awesome day! I sincerely did not want it to end!

the night before the wedding Tara went through the temple and we went out to dinner! It was so fun being with my parents and all the siblings except Brad (we love ya Brad! :) ) inside the temple!

Finals Week!

So it's finals week... which means suffering all around! On top of that both girls were super sick all week! McKenna had a fever from sunday to Wednesday that got up to 103... so not fun! Adyson woke up Monday with a horrible cold... so, so not fun! But both are now recovering and doing much better! chris has rocked his finals so far and he is currently studying for his last one which is tomorrow! Then we head to UT for wedding fun followed by Disneyland for... Minnie fun! :)

Here are some pics of us being house bound :) ...

The girl loves to read...

Slide...

and sit in Adyson's car seat... if we can't find her... look there :)

She is also very into her babies right now! She always wants us to swaddle them for her since she always watches us swaddle Adyson!...

She also thinks we should swaddle her! She thought this was pretty funny...

We wait by the door for daddy to come home and when he does... McKenna goes nuts because she knows he will ruff house with her! Mom tries... but I'm just a better snuggler than a ruff houser :)

And Adyson... is as precious as always and is smiling lots, although I still haven't caught that much on camera! She still is doing a lot of this...

Gotta love em!

Chris in San Fran!

The weekend before Halloween Chris flew out to San Francisco to present his summer research at an AOA conference! He wasn't exactly excited to go since he had a ton on his plate with school and us back at home but he is SO glad he went! Not only did he really enjoy the lectures and networking with other students and doctors, but his research and presentation won second place! He didn't expect to win anything and when they called his name it took a while for it to even click that is was him! :) He won $250 and a pretty red ribbon (who doesn't like a shiny red ribbon of their very own?!) I am so proud of how hard he has worked and for his desire to be the best at whatever he does! We were SOOOO glad to have him back though and I assure you I NEVER ever want to be a single mom!

Congrats Chris! The girls and I love you!

Trick or Treat... Times like... A Zillion! :)

This year we did not just have Halloween... we had a Halloween week long marathon! We had a crazy fun week packed full of lots of fun activities!

It started on Wednesday with a Halloween party for play group. (No pictures from that :) )

Thursday- Our good friend Angel invited us to her work for trick or treating! She is a RN at a rehab center and all the patients were thrilled to have the kiddies! It was a lot of fun!

McKenna and Angel...

This was McKenna's first real experience trick or treating! We practiced all day long saying trick or treat and she really had it down... until she got in front of the people of course! At that moment she just used her looks and still raked in the candy! She was SO very excited once she realized she just had to walk up to them and they gave her candy! She also quickly discovered that everyone thought her "Thank you" was adorable and would give her more candy after she said it! Therefore, ever since she says thank you every 5 seconds it seems! You can tell her excitement here... she is giddy :) ...Adyson, watching carefully to learn for next year! ...

Thursday- The Midwestern Halloween Partay! All the kids first go trick or treating to all the offices and then they have a ton of cute activities set up all around!

They were all ready to go for round 2!...

Kristina was in charge of the cookie decorating station! She helped McKenna out!...
Here is Chris, once again enjoying the bouncys! He loves that he gets to go on them hehehe...
Saturday- Our ward Trunk or Treating! Kristina, Parker, and Derek joined us! We had pizza, watched the costume parade and McKenna had round 3 of trick or treating!...

McKenna by this point was so happy she was going into a perma-hyper stage! I'd call it a sugar high but she doesn't care about the candy so we don't give it to her!

Here she was "ribbiting"... her newest thing, she pretty much ribbits wherever she goes :)
Sunday- I was THRILLED I didn't have to get the girls dressed up again, it was exhausting! We finally got around however to decorating our pumpkins!

McKenna painting her masterpiece...
Chris, post-home teaching, pre-church so he's still dressed up!...
She wasn't into diggin into the pumpkin!...
Adyson also painted hers, with her foot! You can't tell, but it is her foot print! Here is our family of pumpkins! Mine is blingin and even has a grill :)
Sunday evening we had friends over for chili and pie and watched Disturbia, it was a long week but we had a lot of fun!

Happy Halloween!!!!!
