McKenna had her half birthday yesterday. (We love any excuse for cake and a party!) She is now 2.5!
I made her a half birthday cake with a sun on it because she loves suns right now :) When she colors that's what she wants to draw and in church she makes me draw sun, after sun, after sun... after sun.
The candle was a trick candle... so she was blowing REALLY REALLY hard! It was quite humorous :)
Then the girls talked to Chris on skype while they caked!
Everyday I can't believe how old McKenna acts! Chris and I just look at each other and ask "When did she grow up?!"
Some things about McKenna...
She speaks pretty clear to me, but some things she says a little funny! Just a couple are...

Assyn = Adyson

McKenna knows she has to share her toys with Adyson, so she always makes sure Adyson has a toy, but it is always her least favorite item. for example, there is a princess that has purple hair. McKenna doesn't like this princess so when she's playing with the princesses she always gives that one to Adyson.
She loves to brush her teeth, color, sing, sweep, run around like a crazy person, and play with my fondant (which she calls playdough!)
She asks a zillion, million questions all day long. For example... when she watched bambi... Where the mommy? Where the mommy? Where the mommy? Where the mommy? Where the mommy? Where the mommy? Where the mommy? Where the mommy? Where the mommy? Where the mommy? get the picture? Since the right answer isn't usually good enough for her, finally I just have to make up a story about where she is... then she'll stop asking.
The other day we were kicking a ball back and forth. When I kicked it to her it hit her and she put me in time out. She also said, "Time out, do you hear me?"
She repeats everything we say... dangerous huh! Including "Oh my gosh" in a very high pitched voice, and "ah crap." Horrible... I know.
She loves to dance during disney movies with her daddy, and if he isn't home, she'll take mommy!
She gives what she calls "princess kisses." She holds your head with both of her hands and gives you a REALLY long kiss... maybe these disney movies aren't such a good idea!
Loves to swim! She has no fear of the water and as long as she has her wings on she is good :)
She loves nursery more than anything!
She is such a sweetie and we love her more than anything! She is such a good big sister and we wouldn't trade her for anything!

Soo cute! I wonder if her way of sharing is a big sister thing...I always did that to my little sister. In fact, she was just telling me today how much she hated that! Lol :) Addie is really into princesses right now, you guys should come over next week- I think McKenna and Addie would play well together! Plus it would give me an excuse to talk to you! :) by the way, who takes all of your adorable pictures???
