In 12 days we will be holding our new baby girl!!! SAY WHAT???!!! Craziness!
C-Section is scheduled for January 31st at 4:30 pm!
This is the first baby bump picture I took with baby #3... 37 weeks and 2 days
The girls are CONSTANTLY wanting to give their baby sister hugs and kisses through my tummy. We talk A LOT about her coming into our home! They are so excited so hopefully they still are when she is out of my tummy. Adyson has what we refer to as a jealousy issue. If I hold ANY baby or kid Adyson DOES NOT approve and freaks out saying "My mommy." Hmmm... not sure how she's going to do with mommy loving on baby girl all the time.
At 33 weeks we had our 3d ultra sound... ADORABLE! Her little arms were up at her face and she was comfy cozy sleeping in my belly :)
I cannot believe we are down to just a week and a half! I can't wait to meet her and see what she looks like. I can't wait to see if she is looks like McKenna and Adyson or if she will look different!
- She's already started claiming her territory as the third girl. She is very territorial about my stomach. If anyone including me touches it she pushes right back... and hard! If one of the girls is sitting on my lap... she likes to push and kick until they get off!
- For the last month she has been on my sciatic nerves constantly! It's only painful for a second but it makes me crouch over in pain at random moments making me look a little strange!
- Over Christmas I was having lots of strange heart palpitations and Chris made me tell my doctor. My doc made me go to a cardiologist and the cardiologist is making me wear a monitor for 24 hours although they only happen every once in a while now. I'm pretty sure nothing will come of it.
- Running... At the beginning of my pregnancy I commited to running as long as I could. I pushed through the sickness and exhaustion of the first tri and litterally pushed the girls in the stroller while Chris was gone for 4 months and I have managed to keep on running! I'm still running my 5 miles a day. I love it. I feel so pregnant when I'm not running and then when I run, I pretty much forget I am pregnant! It feels great! My motivation? I gained 65 lbs with McKenna and only 18 with Adyson. I know my body and that I cannot lose any weight until after I'm done nursing and so I was determined to keep my weight closer to what I gained with Adyson!
- I'm in MAJOR nesting mode from getting rid of half of our possessions and cleaning out every nook and cranny to making a car seat cover and getting her take home outfit :)
- We have a name that the girls and I have been calling her for awhile. Chris is just now giving into it... we'll see who wins :)
- At 37 weeks... I was still a 0. Not dilating at all. This shouldn't surprise me since I know my body doesn't dilate but there's always a thought that just maybe! Nope! A big fat 0!
12 days??????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
