Insanity

Chris has truly learned the true meaning of insanity during this residency interview season.  Last week he finished his last and final interview!!!!!!!!!!!  PARTY!!!!!!!!!!!  He interviewed at 9 different programs in 9 different cities!...

• Las Vegas, Nevada
• Springfield, Massachusetts
• York, Pennsylvania
• Dallas, Texas
• Little Rock, Arkansas
• Omaha, Nebraska
• Hershey, Pennsylvania 

Before each interview the residents at each program get together with the interviewees for a dinner in addition to the interview so there was A LOT of scheduling flights, hotels, rental cars, etc, that all had to coordinate with making it on time and in the right spot for the next interview or back home for days on his current rotation, which is also going on during all these interviews!  It was truly INSANITY!  He did all this while smiling and being enthusiastic about each program!  He really enjoyed seeing all the programs and now we have to rank each one!  Our rank list is due in February.  We will rank all the programs he interviewed at and each program will rank all their interviewees.  Then in the middle of March there is what's called match week.  On Monday of that week you find out if you matched.  On Friday you find out where!  So... now we play the waiting game!  It feels SOOO great though to have the interviews behind us and as my last post about baby on her way... we are one step closer to her coming!  So great job Chris!  We are proud of you!  We are SOOOOOOOOOOOO glad to have you home for good!!!!!  You'll be a doctor here in no time :)
