Mc Turns 5!

 

 My sweet, spunky, socialite, first born turned 5!!!!!  She had been waiting for this day for a long time and thought it would NEVER come!  She wanted to bring Hello Kitty cupcakes for her birthday snack at preschool!!  In fact, she wanted to have EVERYTHING Hello Kitty for her birthday!

The REAL McKenna.... :)

A few things about my baby McKenna on her 5th birthday!!!...

• She wakes up very happy!  Always too early, but always very happy!
• She has to know our "schedule" for every second of every single day!  If there is no schedule or it doesn't include being social then her life is just OVER!
• She is THEE most thoughtful little girl I have ever met!  She is always thinking of others and wanting to give gifts to everyone!  It is rare that she doesn't go to school without some sort of gift in her backpack she has made for her teacher or one for her entire class!  She is such a sweet, giving person!
• She would watch TV all day long if I let her.  She only gets to watch a show when Reagan is napping and I'm running on the treadmill.  I'll turn on something for her and then come out to something she's turned it to on Netflix... she likes weird shows!  Sometimes anime... (shutter.) Mostly she likes My Little Pony though!  She loves the movie Princess Bride which is kinda funny!
• She DESPISES getting her hair done.  It's been 5 years now that I've done the girl's hair Every. Single. Day!  Toughen up girl!!!
• She got lots of makeup for her bday and she absolutely loves it.  She loves to put on lip gloss and paint her nails!
• She recently started coming home with "McKenna L" on all of her papers from school.  I call her by her full name a lot.  I taught her that her middle name is Elle!  She now rights McKenna Elle any time she rights her name!
• She loves to jump on the trampoline, swing on her swing set, and play in the front with her bike or barbie jeep!  She mostly likes it when Kaleb and Sam come over!  
• She is still the biggest social butterfly I have ever met!
• She cannot wait to start Kindergarten!
• She will come up to me and scratch my back because she knows how much I love it!
• She is the WORST at getting shots.  Even if she isn't the one getting it, I have to have her leave the room because she causes such drama over it!
• She is an AWESOME public speaker!  In church everyone is always amazed and how well she gives her talks!  She hardly needs help at all by memorizing it and she always speaks loud and clear so everyone can hear!
• She does great in dance class!

On her actual birthday she opened presents and then we surprised her with a lunch trip to Larry's Pizza!  She was in heaven of course!
