The Big 3-0!

On February 10th I turned 30!  Weird!!!! I'm pretty sure I will forever feel about 21!  30 is like... a mom!!!... I guess that's me!

I was so excited because my bestie Angel said she was going to drive in from Oklahoma to help me celebrate!  Her daughter Zoey got really sick earlier in the week and she almost didn't make it out here!  I'm so glad she did!

Angel and Zoey drove in late afternoon-ish and we headed out for a birthday dinner before the girls had dance!  I had been eating really good for a while and I had set my mind on eating at Texas Roadhouse but I was convinced that we didn't have time!  I settled on Chili's to get my "40 point pasta."  When I was at BYU-I some of my roomies and I would not eat all day almost every Saturday and then go splurge on what we referred to as 40 point pasta! :)

They sang to me and then the girl said... happy 21st birthday.  I thought to myself... wow... do I look that old that she felt the need to make up a "young" age for myself!  Welcome to 30 hahaha!

After we ate I rushed the girls over for dance while Chris and Angel took Zoey and Reagan home to go to sleep... at least that's what they told me :)
When we got home from dance the house was pitch black and neither of their cars were there.  I pulled into the garage and the cupcakes Chris had made me were gone (He had them in a cupcake holder on our table in the garage.)  At that moment I thought that they might be doing a surprise party.  I got out and fluffed my hair a little and kinda prepared to walk into a surprise.  When I walked in the door.....

Nothing

Bahahaha I felt so dumb that I had thought that!  There was no party... No one was even home!  I called Chris and he said that John and Kelly were at their office and wanted us to come over and that Angel was at Walmart.  So I loaded the girls back up and we drove over to their office.  At that point I had pretty much figured out there was something going on but I didn't know what exactly! :)

Chris mocking me before I  came in a suppose lol...

When I walked in...

SURPRISE!

Everything looked AMAZING and was so me!  Angel did awesome on all the decor and blinged out EVERYTHING!  She knows me all too well :)

Chris made the cupcakes!  The night before he was making a MILLION cupcakes.  I wasn't very happy with him!  He was making a mess when I was trying to get the house all ready for Angel and I didn't want all those cupcakes around when I was trying to eat good!  He told me he was bringing some to work.  He kept saying "I hope these look okay for work."  I told him he cared more about what work thought then what I did!  Whoops!  Love you honey!  The cupcakes were AMAZING!  He also did an ice cream bar so I could have a little bit of ice cream with a lot a bit of toppings!  Just the way I like it! :)

Love this girl!!!!  I'm so blessed to have her in my life!!!...

My dance mom friends!!  It was funny to see them there since we had just been at dance together!!!

Jesse and Becky!...

John and Kelly!

 Church friends!!!

It was so unexpected and sweet to get some gifts!

JoLee is always getting me to be more country so I loved her gift of the book "Happy, Happy, Happy" and an eternity scarf with my initials monogrammed on it!

Adyson had wrapped up her backpack and gave it to me :) Probably my favorite gift I got!

Kelly got me an AMAZING cake stand that I absolutely am obsessed with!

Katy got me the funniest card I  have ever seen and a gift card to Starbucks!

I am SOO SOO blessed to have the people in my life that I do!  Thanks to Chris, Angel, and Kelly and John for helping surprise me and making my 30th UNFORGETTABLE!  I loved every second of it!  Happy 30's!  Can't wait to see what the next 10 years have in store for me!

So so fun! I loved everything about the planning & prepping process. I still can't believe you didn't accidentally see a text I sent to Chris or something. I was so worried something would spoil it. Love ya girl! 30 never looked better! :)
