Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Years from our family!  I didn't make Christmas cards this year... something about having a baby 4 weeks after Christmas combined with other craziness.  Hopefully next year :)

We are sooo excited for our 2013!  On our to do list for the upcoming year...
  • Chris is going to finish up interviews this month for residency!
  • Have our baby girl!
  • We need to rank all the programs Chris has interviewed at
  • The residency match!
  • Bless our baby sometime!
  • McKenna will turn 4 and Adyson will turn 3!
  • Find out where we will be moving in June and find a place to live!
  • Chris to graduate and officially be a doctor!
  • Start residency most likely back east!
YIKES!  That's a lot!  But we are soooo excited and ready! So bring on 2013!!!

A.T.

We are all packed up and ready to leave early in the morning for our Christmas in UT!

For McKenna's 3rd Birthday she got her first pet.  A fish who she named A.T. That was 10.5 months ago and A.T. has been holdin on strong until the last couple of weeks.  We noticed he is hardly moving and he will no longer eat his food.  Since we aren't really sure A.T. will make it through our Christmas vacation we explained to the girls he was sick and they know he might not make it.  So we had a family picture before they went to bed :)
I guess you never know... maybe he'll have a miraculous recovery... either way... These girls love you A.T.!

Glendale Glitters!

Every Christmas season the city of Glendale hosts what's called Glendale Glitters!  Every year I've said we were going to go but we haven't made it.  Since this is our last Christmas here I really wanted to make it!  So last Friday night when Chris got home we went and got hot chocolate and then headed downtown to see all the pretty lights!!  Friday morning was when the Connecticut school shooting happened.  This made it even more important to be with my family and enjoy every second I have with my babies and husband.  So sad for those that weren't with their families that evening.

I love all the lit up palm trees :)

Adyson looked so tiny looking at the super big tree!

The girls were SOOOO excited to see Santa!
Santa asking each of the girls what they wanted for Christmas and if they've been good...
They both told Santa they wanted Barbies :)
I was happy Adyson liked Santa as much as she did!  I wasn't sure how it was going to go!
Merry Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Only 8 days!  We CANNOT wait!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas... Kinda!

The first weekend of December our Christmas festivities had already begun!!!  We put up our sad sad tree (I swear this is my last year with this little tree...)  Decorating made it feel more like Christmas even though you can still wear short sleeves and lay out by the pool here!

Both the girls wanted to put the star on :)

We also had our ward Christmas party!  This year the high priests and the elders quorum were in charge... since Chris is in the elder's quorum I was in on the inside scoop of it all.  I was a lot little worried for them about how it was all going to come together but in the end it turned out great!!  Go men!!

I love love love my young women's calling working with the Beehives... but I love ALL the yw in our ward!  They helped serve the meal and they did a great job :)

The  primary did the cutest drummer performance and McKenna and Adyson snuck in and participated!  They. were. in. HEAVEN!  They still talk about it everyday :)

I love me some McKenna... :)

Thanksgiving 2012!

Since Chris is a traveling machine these days with residency interviews we were tempted to stay in AZ for Thanksgiving... but... since we will most likely be moving back east soon we figured we should see the fams as much as we can!  I'm soooo glad we went because it was a blast!

Chris was supposed to have a test on Wednesday but he told them he had a "schedule change" and he's now going to take it later in the month :)  So we headed out Monday after he got done with work and headed to Nana and Papas!

The next day we hit up cafe rio and played games that night!

They also gave us our new family elf... Star :)

Adyson likes the dogs just a little!  Too bad mommy is so allergic!

Wednesday morning we headed to Shanna's to spend out Thanksgiving with the Dalby fam!!

Livi got the girls each a kitty cat so they would all be able to play kitties together :)

That day we just had fun catching up and hanging out and we took FULL advantage of Tara's new cosmetology skills with manis, pedis, haircuts, etc!!!  Lucky us!  That night we headed to a jump place... it was a blast!

Thanksgiving Day

The big excitement of the whole trip was our baby of the family, Brad, opening up his mission call!!!!!  We were ALL SOOOOO excited and I was so glad we got to be there for the special moment when it was opened!!

Elder Dalby has been called to serve to the Richmond, Virginia Mission!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats Brad!!  We love you!!!

I hope the hotness runs in the  family :)  ...

The girls ate up some Grandpa time!  Including him playing prince and princesses!

What the boys really wanted to do the whole time...

I made these "cornucopias" and inside was something someone was thankful for, then we had to guess who's it was :)

My attempt at a cousin picture.... yikes!

The guys waiting patiently for the food to begin!!...

The after meal...

I SERIOUSLY couldn't get enough of little Logy!  I just wanted to eat him up!!!!!

There just wasn't enough pies...

All Chris requested was a costco pecan pie so he was a little excited!

And with all the pie, the only dessert kiddies wanted was an ice cream cone :)

That night all the girls went shopping which is what we do best!  I was rather disappointed in the sales this year but I can't lie, I'm sure I'll be out next year as well!!

Friday night we went to temple square and went on carriage rides then the guys went to the Jazz game to see Jimmer play the jazz and the girls walked around temple square some!

Ethan was SOOO happy to be taking a pic hahahahaha... he is too stinkin cute.

Saturday we headed back to the Fowler's where we got motorcycle rides and went to the nickelcade!

The girls outside Grandma and Grandpa Baum's home with the snowman!  McKenna requested these picture to be taken :)

We had a BLAST and like always, the saddest part was that it was all over!  Oh... and the fact that pretty much everyone had the flu... yikes!  Poor Chris had to drive all the way home with it.  But we are now home and now the Christmas countdown can begin!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!
